GTA 6: Raul Bautista, the bank robber with his own panel
Raul Bautista is the career bank robber of GTA 6, one of the supporting characters Rockstar Games put online on May 6, 2025. He holds a panel of the official cover art and runs the getaway shown in An Extended Look.
GTA6 LIFE

Raul Bautista is the bank robber of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games published his character page on May 6, 2025, the day the second trailer landed, inside the set of supporting characters titled “Only in Leonida”. His region is Ambrosia. The game arrives November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The page runs to five lines. It opens on a tagline:
Experience counts.
Then the biography, which reads like a job offer:
Confidence, charm, and cunning: Raul’s a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards.
The two lines Rockstar puts in his mouth are “Life is full of surprises, my friend. I think we’d all be wise to remember that” and “A professional adapts”. The last line is the one that says where the story goes: “Raul’s recklessness raises the stakes with every score. Sooner or later, his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table.”
Rockstar put up eight character pages, covering nine named people, because Real Dimez is a duo. Bautista takes one of the nine panels on the cover art, revealed on June 18, 2026 through a 33-second video. In the panel-by-panel breakdown IGN published on June 19, 2026, he holds an assault rifle branded Duke, standing outside the Sinfrontera National Bank. Duke comes from Red Dead Redemption, and IGN counts it as the first time a brand from that universe has crossed into the HD universe of GTA.

He returns in the 26 minutes and 48 seconds shown on August 27, 2026. Jason and Lucia pick him up mid-getaway. Lucia drives, Bautista barks orders from the back seat and asks whether she is a professional, Jason climbs into the back and hoses down police cars and helicopters with an assault rifle. The run ends in Bayside, a district Lucia names out loud around the 12:32 mark, and Bautista pays his two accomplices before the three of them leave in a van.
One detail is still open. Game Informer describes four wanted stars out of six on screen, while Engadget describes six clearly visible at the same point. Both readings cannot hold for the same shot.

The theory that started with a t-shirt
On May 22, 2025, Spanish actor Oscar Jaenada, seen in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon”, posted an Instagram photo wearing a t-shirt with Raul Bautista on it. The theory that gives him the part starts there, and nowhere else. Beebom wrote it up the same day, at the bottom rung of the source scale: a fan reading.
Rockstar Games has named no actor for any character in GTA 6. No page on the official site carries a performance credit, and the 26 minutes of August 27, 2026 end without a cast list.
One last thing, because the mistake keeps travelling through character lists. Radio Times writes “Raul Batista”, without the u. Rockstar writes Raul Bautista. The studio has given no age and no date of birth for him either, as for the eight other named characters, all of whom are laid out in the who is who guide.
